Share Your Story - 'Shining Stars'

Volunteers play an important role in the mission of the March of Dimes. Each year millions of you help our crusade by volunteering your time with WalkAmerica, Prematurity Awareness Day, and many other chapter events. Volunteers like you are the driving force behind our mission.

In recent years, the March of Dimes has seen an influx of Mission-affected volunteers. Who/what are Mission Volunteers? You are! You, as well as most of the Share your Story members, have been personally affected by the devastating effects of prematurity, birth defects and infant mortality. Members like you who will do whatever they can to prevent just one more family from experiencing the anxieties and heartaches you've suffered, are the heart and soul of our mission.

We at Share your Story appreciate each and every one of our volunteers. YOU are helping raise awareness to our mission. YOU are helping us gain recognition as the leading organization in the fight to save babies. We at Share your Story would now like to recognize YOU.

Here at Share, in our very own community of more nearly 20,000 members, exist our very own 'Shining Stars'. We would like to take the opportunity in this folder to spotlight those of you who go above and beyond in your volunteering and fundraising efforts.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking these members for all that they do. Also, if you have recently been involved in a MoD volunteer project that you are proud of, please take the time to post about it in our 'Get Involved' section. We would love to hear about it. Who knows, you just might be our next 'Shining Star'.
